On 8th October 2020 the Tolić group from Ruđer Bošković Institute hosted a kick-off meeting to bring together representatives of the PI teams under the ERC Synergy project “Molecular origins of aneuploidies in healthy and diseased human tissues (Aneuploidy)”. The meeting organized in hybrid form aimed at facilitating the collaboration and knowledge sharing among PI teams and creating synergies for effective project implementation and coordinated results.
The one-day meeting was divided into four sessions. After the introductory presentation of project rationale and objectives by cPI Prof Iva Tolić, representatives of all research teams – Tolić group, Amon group, Kops group and Pavin group held presentations which included review of previous findings and results of recent research and analysis. Group members had a lively discussion both during and after each presentation where participants made constructive remarks and recommendations regarding research background and rationale, analysis and use of indicators. Overall, 12 participants held presentations on PI teams’ work.
Meeting participants identified synergies in areas of knowledge and research results sharing and related actions were agreed upon regarding further communication.
