The concluding presentation for “QuantiXLie, Center of Excellence for the Theory of Quantum and Complex Systems and Lie Algebra Representation” took place on November 30, 2023, at the Physics Department of the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb. Our team participated in Element 4, led by Nenad Pavin, who presented our results on the mechanobiology of the mitotic spindle. He also summarized the overall outcomes of Element 4, which include the hiring of 5 PhD students and 1 postdoc, the publication of 35 scientific papers (22 from the Tolić and Pavin groups), the organization of three international conferences titled “Mitotic spindle: From living and synthetic systems to theory,” over 40 talks at international meetings and much more.
