Our Master student, Ana Milas, graduated from the Division of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb. Ana did her Master thesis on optogenetics in our lab. Congrats on your Master degree in chemistry! We are proud!

At the Dynamic kinetochore EMBO workshop that took place from 6th to 9th June 2017 in Edinburgh, UK, Renata Buđa gave oral presentation entitled “Microtubule sliding in the bridging fiber pushes kinetochore fibers apart to segregate chromosomes”.

Bruno Polak joined 82nd Cold Spring Harbor Symposium on Chromosome Segregation & Structure and presented a poster entitled “The mitotic spindle possesses left-handed chirality” in Cold Spring Harbor, NY, USA from May 31 – June 5, 2017.
