At the 14th Multinational Congress on Microscopy in Belgrade, Serbia, Juraj Simunić accepted The European Microscopy Society Outstanding Paper Award in the category Life Sciences for our paper “The mitotic spindle is chiral due to torques within microtubule bundles”. This is a great recognition for the work of all the PhD students and postdocs on the paper – Maja Novak, Bruno Polak, Juraj Simunić, Zvonimir Boban and Barbara Kuzmić.
