The kick-off meeting of the ERC Synergy project Molecular origins of aneuploidies in healthy and diseased human tissues (Aneuploidy) hosted by Prof Iva Tolić will take place on Thursday, 8th October 2020 at 14:00 (CET).
The main objective of this project is to uncover the molecular origins of mitotic errors and their contribution to karyotype aberrations in healthy and diseased tissues by introducing novel approaches to study of aneuploidy (superresolution microscopy, optogenetics, laser ablation, single cell karyotype sequencing) and applying them to state-of-the-art tissue cultures (mammalian organoids and tumoroids).
Aim of the meeting is to present research activities of PI’s team members implemented since the start of the project in April 2020. The kick-off meeting will include scientific presentations of the research groups involved in the project followed by a discussion. This meeting will also be an opportunity for all the PI teams to get to know each other and establish lines of communication as well as to review the following activities and research objectives. More information about the project is available here.
