Doctoral students from Tolić Lab Monika Trupinić and Ivana Ponjavić participated in the “Science in Passing” event held on Saturday, March 5th 2022 at the Cvjetni Square on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Monika and Ivana presented their research of the mitotic spindle and chromosome segregation and what is known about this miniature machine that shares our genes.
The goal of this event organized by the Association for the Promotion of Science in Croatia “Penkala” was to achieve wider participation of society in science and to break the myths about science and scientists.
